At first glance, the unique torus shape of the museum immediately captures your attention. Aligning with the name of the museum, the shape was chosen to symbolize the infinite potential of the future, with no beginning or end. The museum's facade is made of stainless steel and has a curved, metallic appearance that envelops around the torus shape like a giant donut. Apart from being aesthetically pleasing, the design was planned in a way to allow optimal use of space and let natural light stream in easily.

The fascinating fact about the Museum of The Future is that it was built using extraordinary technology, including robots. One of the technologies used was parametric design, where one can change certain variables or parameters in an equation to create something completely unique. The other technology that was used is called Building Information Modelling, or BIM that has revolutionized the world of construction and design since its origin.

One of the museum’s remarkable features is the Arabic calligraphy designed by Emirati artist Mattar Bin Lahej, adorned on its exteriors and interiors. The inspiring Arabic words are taken from the poems written by HH Sheik Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai. Written in thuluth script, these quotes truly embody the theme of the Museum and celebrate the spirit of Dubai.
